When the snow melts, there's still plenty to do at Kimberley Alpine Resort, including mountain biking and hiking.
This is a great resort for beginner and intermediate riders determined to improve their skills. In addition to a heady 610m/2,000ft of vertical downhill, mountain bikers have access to the extensive multi-use trails in the Kimberley Nature Park, many of which run through or around the resort. The bike park is one of the newest in the province, and still one where a lineup is rare.
More hikes and riding routes can be found in and around the town of Kimberley, just 2km/1.6mi away.
