Kicking Horse offers high-alpine and mountaintop trails for hikers of all ability levels.
Take the gondola to the top of the mountain to reach some serious scenery without expending energy.
Routes are filled with natural delights, and many open up to stunning ridge walks. Pass by rushing waters, alpine meadows flush with summer flowers, or even stunning glaciers.
Trails range from virtually flat and short distance in length to lung-busting, serious hours of ropes-optional vertical. Some routes are easy, well-marked trails while more difficult routes involve scrambling and crossing scree. Expect incredible views of surrounding mountain ranges.

Backcountry enthusiasts can enjoy Glacier's challenging peaks & deep snow while those looking for a more relaxing experience can take a leisurely stroll along the many short trails. Visitors are invited to 'try on some history' as they pose in a new interpretive sculpture/exhibit celebrating over a century of women's 'skirtless' mountaineering at the Rogers Pass Discovery Centre.
