Kicking Horse offers high-alpine and mountaintop trails for hikers of all ability levels.

Take the gondola to the top of the mountain to reach some serious scenery without expending energy.

Routes are filled with natural delights, and many open up to stunning ridge walks. Pass by rushing waters, alpine meadows flush with summer flowers, or even stunning glaciers.

Trails range from virtually flat and short distance in length to lung-busting, serious hours of ropes-optional vertical. Some routes are easy, well-marked trails while more difficult routes involve scrambling and crossing scree. Expect incredible views of surrounding mountain ranges.

Visit our Grizzly Bear Refuge, home to Boo, our resident grizzly - a conservation, education and research centre, and Canada's largest enclosed and protected grizzly habitat.
