The Eagle's Eye Restaurant
Take the gondola to the very top of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. The Eagle's Eye Restaurant, with its French-inspired menu, is just a little closer to heaven with its elevation of 2,347m/7,700ft. A good choice after a day of skiing, or possibly in the middle of it – lunch is an affordable affair.
Heaven's Door Yurt
In the Crystal Bowl area, the Heaven's Door Yurt offers lunches and snacks to eat in, or – to take maximum advantage of the view – outside, around the firepit.

In the base area, the very popular Sushi Kuma presents the authentic flavours and textures of Japan, while other on-mountain options include Corks Restaurant (in the Copper House Lodge) and Peaks Grill.
The Local Hero
Located in the Winston Lodge, the Local Hero Western Pub serves up pub fare and local micro-brewed beer.
Dining in Golden
The town of Golden has a number of fast food outlets, but also has some excellent independent bistros serving up great cuisine.
Enjoy a great breakfast at the Kicking Horse River Lodge. This building that was honoured by National Geographic as one of the 50 best eco-lodges in the world.
The Whitetooth Mountain Bistro is one of the busiest places in town, and the food is hearty – try the elk cassoulet.
A true Canadian log cabin restaurant, the Kicking Horse Grill has the best steaks in town, a great caesar salad, and excellent service too.
