Kicking Horse Culture presents 'Summer Kicks 2013' Down by the Bridge Concerts. Free shows for all ages from 7-9pm throughout the summer. Ride your bike to Summer Kicks and let Golden's Bike Valet look after your bike while you kick back and enjoy the music! The Kicking Horse Pedestrian Bridge is the longest free spanning timber frame bridge in North America. It was built by volunteer timberframers who came from world wide to work on this project. It also connects the Rotary Walking Trail to the downtown area.

Visitors to the Golden Farmers' Market will find a selection of fresh fruits and vegetables from several local growers. Artisans' wares include pottery, soaps, jewellery, art photography, woodwork and more. Locally-produced honey is a popular choice for market-goers. Artisan breads and homemade pies are another favourite. The Wednesday Market has the sound of live music while the Spirit Square Saturday Market has the timber frame Burr Arch Pedestrian Bridge close by.

Fall Market every Saturday in the month of September 2013.

Winter Market the last Saturday of the month starting January 25, 2014 to April 26, 2014.

Motion Notion Festival is an exploration of electronic music, art, nature, and the infinite in the heart of Rocky Mountains near Golden BC Canada.

There are many things to see and do at Motion Notion. The festival is designed to give you the freedom and comfort to enjoy the great outdoors while listening to fantastic music with your fellow MoNoers.

The annual Willi Muller Memorial Challenge is July 27th - August 4th. A para-gliding and hang-gliding cross-country race. Glider pilots fly their longest distances with a bonus for being able to fly back to Golden Eco Adventure Ranch. A person's best three flights count toward the total. This fun competition has been taking place for over 10 years.

Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is preparing for the upcoming 2013 mountain bike race season and is pleased to be presenting the return of the Western Open BC Cup and Alberta Downhill event. KHMR events team is focused on supporting the progression and development of downhill bike races and is confident these races will be bigger and better than the great success we delivered in 2012.
