If learning to fish is on your list of things to do with the kids, here's your chance! every Saturday & Sunday from May to June 16, visit Mission Creek or Shannon Lake Regional Parks & try your luck. The ponds will be stocked with trout, ready and waiting to be caught. Volunteers and staff will be on hand to help new fishers. This event is for children 15 and under, with a 1 fish per day limit. No fishing license is required for BC children 15 & under.

This will be the 18th season for The Kelowna Farmers' & Crafters' Market. From humble beginnings we've grown to become British Columbia's largest Farmers' Market, which is quite an accomplishment. With ongoing concerns over our food sources, our environment, and with the awareness of the benefits of eating locally produced foods, we are seeing a growing attendance each year. More and more people are willing to support and encourage our local farmers and artisans by shopping at The Kelowna Farmers' & Crafters' Market. Market is open Wednesday and Saturday.

Provincial Fiddle Contest sponsored by the Kelowna Old Time Fiddlers. Concert Friday May 31 - guest artist and 3 times Grand Master Champion, Mark Sullivan.

A small vibrant market located in a grassy area in Swalwell Park under large shady trees which is a real asset on hot summer days. The market is creating a fund to underwrite the cost of live entertainment for the enjoyment of customers and vendors.

Features a pancake breakfast by the Rotary Club & Root Beer Garden by the Lions. Entertainment includes the Lake Country Big Band, a variety of local talented musicians, games & rides for youth, including demonstrations by the Fire Department.

As the 2013 Dragon Boat Festival approaches, it gains momentum to be one of the best Dragon Boating experiences of the year. Families and individuals from all over come to Kelowna to watch or participate in this thrilling and cultural weekend.

Musical all-star Michael Burgess brings his music back to the winery on July 31st! Performing in CedarCreek's spectacular Vineyard Pavilion, the gates will open to ticket patrons at 6:30 pm with the concert beginning at 7:00 pm and playing until the sun sets. This is a charity event and proceeds will be donated to the Rotary Centre for the Arts.
