This weekend festival is the perfect way to spend family time over the BC Day long weekend. The village will be host to entertainers and activities, including LIVE performances by The Doodlebops, live music by Shane Philip, a kids' zone, outdoor evening movie and more!

This time of the summer season is when the alpine wildflowers are at the height of their bloom. Be sure to take a scenic ride on the Sunburst Express chairlift for access to hiking trails. The wildflower meadows on Tod Mountain can be reached by a leisurely stroll to more challenging hikes.

In 2014, we will be celebrating the 35th Annual Kamloops Pow Wow. The Kamloopa Pow Wow is one of the largest celebrations of First Nations' culture and heritage in Western Canada. The Pow Wow is a spectacular expression of the Secwepemc people's heritage and is a vibrant display of storytelling, song and dance in traditional regalia. The Kamloopa Pow Wow represents many years of stories and events from previous years packed into 3 exciting days at the Secwepemc Pow Wow Grounds located 2 min from the city centre, alongside the South Thompson River in Kamloops.
