This collaborative fundraising event brings together 300 community arts, business and political leaders, and arts supporters, to acknowledge, celebrate and inspire artists and residents of Kamloops and the Thompson-Nicola Regional District (TNRD).

Kamloops Symphony presents Baroque Splendour. The programme features music from three of the great composers of the Baroque period: Bach, Handel and Purcell. The orchestra will be joined by guest conductor Kevin Mallon who specializes in music from the period. The performance will also showcase three soloists from within the KSO: Naomi Cloutier, Annette Dominik and Cvetozar Vutev. Enjoy the clarity, energy and delicacy of the Baroque period on Saturday, Feb 7, 2015 at 7:30 pm at Sagebrush Theatre. In 2015, we will be celebrating the 36th Annual Kamloopa Pow Wow, one of the largest celebrations of First Nations' culture and heritage in Western Canada.

The Pow Wow is a spectacular expression of the Secwepemc people's heritage and is a vibrant display of storytelling, song and dance in traditional regalia. It represents many years of stories and events from previous years packed into 3 exciting days at the Secwepemc Pow Wow Grounds, located 2 minutes from the city centre, alongside the South Thompson River in Kamloops.
