The 4th Annual Branch Out Bike Tour. The tour is a 100 km bike ride that starts and ends at Panorama with the majority of the ride looping Lake Windermere. This year we expect to draw over 300 participants and volunteers and raise over $100,000 for neurological disorders.

The Heart of the Rockies Triathlon is an Olympic Distance Triathlon. The swim takes place in Lake Windermere, followed by an out & back cycle route & a single lap out & back run. It's a spectacular venue in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, with stunning views of Lake Windermere & the mountains. For hockey fanatics, it's hard to imagine it getting any better than this. Invermere has been named the host city for this sanctioned qualifier BC Eastern Regional Pond Hockey Championships. Outdoor rinks, on either Lake Windermere or Lake Lillian, are approximately 75' x 150', nets are 6' wide and 10" tall and side boards are made of snow. It's 4-on-4 hockey with no goalies; teams can have up to 6 players.
