While the easiest way to get to and around Fort Langley is by car, recreational vehicle or motorcycle, there are other options for transportation and getting around town.
Upon arriving in this picturesque, historic village, visitors will find all major attractions are within walking distance. However, a vehicle is necessary to head out on one of the areas three scenic driving routes.
Car Travel
To get from downtown Vancouver to Fort Langley, it's a 40-minute drive of about 50km/31mi east on the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1). Take the 232nd Street exit north off the highway, and Fort Langley is just 6km/4mi away.
Fort Langley can also be reached via the Golden Ears Bridge, which offers access over the Fraser River from Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge at 200th Street, directly west of Fort Langley.

There are no car rental agencies in Fort Langley, but several exist in the greater Langley area, mostly clustered along the Fraser Highway (19,000-20,000 block) near the Langley Bypass intersection.
Buses & Public Transportation
Fort Langley lies within Metro Vancouver's TransLink public transport system. From downtown Vancouver, it takes about two hours by bus to reach Fort Langley. Air Travel
Private planes and seaplanes land at Fort Langley Airport (CBQ2), which sits 1.9km/1.2mi east of Fort Langley next to the Fraser River at 24600 River Road. Charter sightseeing flights are available.
Langley Regional Airport (CYNJ) has regular scheduled service to the Inner Harbour in Victoria, a 30-minute seaplane flight. It's also used by private aircraft and helicopters. It's located at 5385-216th St. in Langley, and is also home to the Canadian Museum of Flight.
