Enjoy catskiing, boarding & fantastic backcountry skiing. The terrain is predominately gladed tree skiing, with occasional tree bands leading into open chutes, suitable for advanced-intermediate to advanced type skiers. Trips consist of a full day of catskiing, lunch & the use of avalanche transceivers & snack at end of the day. Single & multi-day options are available. The backcountry lodge features a large living area, dining room & eight bedrooms (3 with private bathrooms). Transfers to/from the lodge if required & ski rentals are extra. Fernie Wilderness Adventures also offers ice fishing & wildlife viewing packages & fly-fishing float trips in the summer.

We offer packaged tours with transportation, accommodation & lift tickets, & are actively looking for new direct book groups. We will organize the best fit package based on your group type, arrival date & length of stay. We are intimately familiar with the Powder Highway resorts & their lodging, lift & cat-ski or heli-ski operators. We provide transportation in our own vehicles or subcontract charter coach where required.

We own a fleet of passenger vans including a luxury 11-passenger Mercedes Sprinter van. Resort Tours also operates the Fernie Connector airport shuttle providing twice daily shuttles between the Canadian Rockies International Airport & Fernie.
