Hop aboard Victoria Harbour Ferry for a cruise around Victoria's harbour. These little passenger-only ferries, holding up to 12 people, have regularly scheduled stops at popular wharfs along the way.

On Foot / By Bicycle

Victoria's harbourside layout and compact downtown core make walking and cycling ideal ways to explore the city. Stroll along pedestrian-friendly walkways hung with colourful flower baskets, past impressive heritage buildings and by lush public gardens. Bring a camera to capture the ocean and mountain views around every corner. City highlights include Canada's oldest Chinatown, the shops of Fort Street and Old Town, the bustling Inner Harbour, the provincial legislature buildings and Beacon Hill Park. Guided walking tours provide some fascinating insight into Victoria's past.

City paths link to the 29-km (18-mi) Lochside Trail and 55-km (34-mi) Galloping Goose Trail. Built along old railway lines, these level, multi-use trails are a delight to traverse, as they meander past beaches, quiet coves, coastal rainforest, wetlands and working farms.
