Vancouver International Airport is located in Richmond, approximately 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver, and is the gateway to flights from around the world. The Abbotsford International Airport, approximately an hour east of Vancouver, is a convenient hub for the region's air service from across Canada.

Floatplane terminals are located at Coal Harbour in Vancouver's downtown harbour, and helicopter service is from Waterfront Road east of Canada Place.

Vancouver International Airport

Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is BC's primary air transportation hub. Consistently ranked among the world's best for customer satisfaction, it features modern architecture inspired by nature and an exquisite collection of Northwest Coast art. Totem poles, weavings, carvings, glasswork, contemporary sculptures and more are on permanent display throughout the terminal. A stroll through YVR is an ideal way to begin acquainting yourself with this province's exciting natural and cultural landscapes.

YVR is located in Richmond, just 30 minutes south of downtown Vancouver.

It's a quieter alternative to the bigger and busier Vancouver International Airport and provides quick access to BC's southern interior. Travellers can fly into YXX non-stop from Calgary, Edmonton and Victoria. YXX is located in the Fraser Valley, 1 hour and 15 minutes southeast of Vancouver.
