Car Travel

The village is compact and easily walkable. Many outdoor recreational attractions are accessible on paved roads, but four-wheel or all-wheel-drive vehicles, equipped with winter tires in season, are best suited for backcountry travel.

Chase has no public transportation system and the closest car rental agencies are in Kamloops and Salmon Arm.

Bus and Rail Travel

Greyhound Canada buses stop in Chase and provide multiple daily connections with Vancouver and Calgary as well as regional centres.

Chase has no passenger rail service.

Air Travel

Kamloops Airport is the primary gateway with multiple daily flights to and from Vancouver and Calgary plus regional airports. Carriers include Air Canada Jazz, Central Mountain Air and Westjet. Car rentals are available at the airport.

Maps

The Chase Visitor Centre at 400 Shuswap Ave distributes a colour map of the village including points of interest, businesses and services on one side and written information about Chase and things to do in the area on the other. Detailed maps are also included in the booklet Chase, A Shuswap Experience and the Shuswap Vacation Guide, both free and available at the Visitor Centre.
