Ashcroft is accessible by both car and public transportation. However, car travel is probably the best bet for travelers wanting to explore the surrounding area as well. Air service is available at Kamloops International Airport, 94km/58mi from Ashcroft. Several car rental agencies operate from the airport. 

Car Travel

Ashcroft is located 10km/6mi southwest of the junction of the Trans-Canada Highway and Highway 97, some 10km/6mi south of Cache Creek, 183km/117mi north of Hope, and 94km/59mi west of Kamloops. Driving from the east, take the Trans-Canada Highway from Kamloops; from the west take either the Trans Canada through the Fraser Canyon (350km/217mi) or the Coquihalla Highway through Kamloops.

Public Transportation

Greyhound Canada provides daily service from nearby Cache Creek to Vancouver, Kamloops, and points north and east. VIA Rail operates between Ashcroft and Vancouver, and Ashcroft and Edmonton/Calgary, Alberta. 

Air Travel

The air traffic facility nearest to Ashcroft is Kamloops International Airport, which provides air service throughout North America with connections to virtually every part of the world though Air Canada Jazz and WestJet. Rental cars are available at the airport as well as through local hotels. There is an airport midway between Cache Creek and Ashcroft, but it caters only to private aircraft.
