Valemount Winter Activities
With so many mountain ranges, comes an abundance of snow in some parts of BC. There are 13 spectacular and award-winning skiing and snowboarding resorts throughout the province as well as myriad backcountry skiing opportunities in national and provincial parks.
Incredible cross-country ski terrain is found throughout the province, which in total has more than 50 designated Nordic ski areas. Another two growing winter sports in BC, pursued both leisurely and competitively, are dogsledding and snowshoeing. Snowmobiling trails also criss-cross the province.
