Manning Park is located in the heart of the Cascade Mountain Range. This is one of southwestern BC's premier cross-country skiing and snowshoeing destinations, thanks to fresh mountain air and pristine surroundings. Manning offers approximately 12 km (7.5 mi) of marked trails that can be accessed from various points between the resort and the ski hill. Explore the trails on your own or try a guided excursion. There are routes appropriate for all levels of shoers. Accommodations are available at Manning Park Resort, a short walk or shuttle ride away.
Manning Park is located between Hope and Princeton, a three-hour drive east from Vancouver.

Whistler, site of most of the alpine and Nordic venues for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, is also a popular destination for snowshoeing. Lost Lake Park maintains 14 km (8.7 mi) of trails for shoers of all abilities. Choose from a great selection of guided tours, such as an evening walk that ends with a fondue dinner at one of Whistler's restaurants. Please note that snowshoers and cross-country skiers use separate trails.
Whistler Blackcomb is a 2-hour drive along the Sea to Sky Highway (Highway 99) from Vancouver.
