Take a guided excursion of the area, which includes a stop at historic Hollyburn Lodge, built in 1926, and a great spot for a fondue meal or a steaming mug of cocoa. Cypress is situated less than an hour from Vancouver, and offers breathtaking views of that city, as well as English Bay, Georgia Strait and Howe Sound.

Cypress Mountain is the site of the snowboarding and freestyle venues for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
