PEAK 2 PEAK gondola cars travel the longest unsupported span in the world — over 3 km/1.8 mi from tower to tower — and at their highest point are suspended 436 m/1427 ft above Fitzsimmons Creek. Two of the 28 cars feature glass bottoms, providing exhilarating views of the valley below.
Snowboarding in Metro Vancouver Vancouver ’s three ski and snowboard mountains — Cypress , Grouse , and Seymour — offer numerous runs and terrain parks, not to mention incredible views of the city and sea below. Off the slopes, check out Manning’s tube park and outdoor skating rink, or explore a vast network of marked and unmarked cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails.
Family-friendly Snowboarding at Hemlock Hemlock Resort is a hidden gem just northeast of Mission . The resort is a popular family snowboarding destination thanks to its idyllic location, uncrowded slopes, on-hill ride-in/ride-out accommodation, and varied terrain that’s suitable for all ages and abilities.
