Three separate mountains make up Sun Peaks Resort, providing powder-seekers the second-largest ski area in BC. With an average of 2,000 hours of sunshine and an annual snowfall of close to 6 metres (20 feet), it’s no wonder the resort was awarded “#1 Resort in Western Canada for Best Weather” by Ski Canada magazine in 2007.
Sun Peaks is well known both locally and internationally as a family-friendly resort. A past winner of Ski Canada magazines “Best Family Ski Resorts,” in 2008 the mountain was awarded “Best Family Resort in North America” by the London-based Cadogan Guides.
