Whitewater Winter Resort is located in the legendary Selkirk Mountains in the Kootenay Rockies region of southeastern BC.

It takes its cross-country seriously: 11 track-set trails for both classic and skate skiing are groomed daily. Skiers of all levels will get a great workout and enjoy exhilarating scenery along these trails, which loop from the resort's day lodge to spectacular Hummingbird Pass.

The resort is just a 15-minute drive from the charming, heritage town of Nelson, where all types of accommodations to fit all budgets can be found.

  • Whitewater offers some of the most dependable powder skiing and boarding in the west, thanks to an average annual dry snowfall of over 10 m (32.8 ft) combined with an epic 1,640-m (5,400-ft) elevation.
  • Send the kids (ages 6-12 years old) to the Adventure Club or drop younger ones (ages 18 months to 6 years old) off at the licensed daycare.
  • Accommodations -from unique inns and guest homes to hotels and motels- are available just a 15-minute drive away in Nelson.
