World-renowned Whistler Blackcomb is one of the top ski resorts in North America. Four years running, Luxury Travel magazine has named Whistler Blackcomb Best Overseas Ski Resort. Last year SKIING magazine ranked Whistler Blackcomb #1 Overall in North America, while SKI magazine ranked it #1 in Terrain/Variety.
The cross-country skiing trails are easily accessed from the resort. In fact, just a five-minute walk from Whistler Village is Lost Lake Park, which offers over 32 km (20 mi) of forested, track-set trails beside a small alpine lake, many of which lead to postcard views of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains. Lost Lake trails have gentle slopes for beginners as well as challenging tracks for advanced skiers. The trail around the lake itself is lit for night skiing. Head to the Cross Country Connection for trail passes, rentals and lessons.
