Apex Mountain Resort's cross-country skiing is located 7 km (4.4 mi) away at the Nickel Plate Nordic Centre. Here, there are 65 km (40 mi) of trails, with grooming for both classic and skate skiing, the majority of which are green (easy), although there are enough blue and black trails to challenge even the most advanced skiers.

Apex Mountain Resort is a 30-minute drive west from Penticton.
