Northern British Columbia Things To Do
|
Whatever you want to do in Northern BC, take it outside. This is a world where the outdoors rule. And what an amazing place it is. You can hike, trek, bike, camp, canoe, golf, fish and swim. The wilderness is vast and beautiful, the mountains rough and craggy, the lakes and streams sparkling clear and fresh, the forests deep and green. The days are deliciously long - this far north you have natural light till 11 p.m. all summer long.
After your outdoor adventures, head into Prince George or Smithers for a taste of arts and culture. Or ferry to the Queen Charlotte Islands to discover the culture, customs and art of the Haida People. Back on the mainland, you can visit one of the many heritage sites that mark the frontier nature of this region.
