Victoria is a fishing hotspot that offers anglers easy access to the salmon-rich waters of the Pacific Ocean as well as the sheltered waterways of Georgia Strait and the Gulf Islands.

Salmon fishing in Victoria is a year-round activity. The summer months provide anglers easy access to the salmon and halibut-filled waters off Vancouver Island’s west coast, while in the winter, fishing is best not too far from the city itself.

Victoria and its surrounding communities of SidneySooke and Port Renfrew offer anglers of all skill levels an impressive choice of fishing opportunities – often only minutes from the dock. Victoria is a popular tourist destination and is also well known for whale watchingkayaking and other activities.

Access direct, daily ferry service from both mainland British Columbia and Port Angeles in the United States.
