Cariboo Chilcotin Coast Things To Do

The Cariboo Chilcotin Coast is at once a land of mesmerizing locales and an area steeped deeply in First Nations and pioneering history. There are thousands of lakes and rivers as well as a magnificent stretch of Pacific Ocean coastline from which to indulge in any type of water sport. Freshwater and saltwater fishing are legend. Kayaking, canoeing and whitewater rafting opportunities abound as well.

On land, there are parks, golf courses, canyons and mountains to explore. Or follow the historical Cariboo Waggon Road on the Gold Rush Trail to the historic town of Barkerville, a unique streetscape with over 125 heritage buildings.
