The Kilby Historic Site is the only surviving edifice in what was once the thriving community of Harrison Mills. Step back in time with costumed interpreters, as you are guided through the 1906 General Store Museum once owned by the Kilby family. On the farm are Jersey cows and calves, chickens, piglets, sheep, lambs, goat, rabbits, and turkeys. Children will find a terrific tree fort, teeter-totter and a variety of old fashioned games in the Orchard Playground.
Maplewood is a 2.5ha park-farm in North Vancouver. Specializing in the display of domestic farm animals and birds, the farm offers areas where visitors can meet the animals: "Rabbitat" where the bunnies reside; "Goathill" where the goat kids and their moms play; and the "Duck Yard" where the ducks and geese hang out. A milking demonstration is held daily, featuring the Jersey cow, Daisy. Pony Rides are available seasonally. Back to the Top
