In spring, entire hillsides in this region turn an awe-inspiring pink, white, and fuschia as hundreds of thousands of orchard trees are swathed in apple, pear, peach, apricot, cherry and plum blossoms.

Harvesting in "Canada's fruit bowl" begins in June with the  sweetest cherries and runs until mid October with the final yields of apples and squash. Many farms and orchards welcome visitors.
