Vancouver, Coast & Mountains Hot Springs

Harrison Lake
Harrison Lake
Slipping into hot springs is a joy in any season. Several can be found in the Vancouver Coast & Mountains region, with some on private land and most easily and publicly accessible.

Harrison Hot Springs

In Mighty Fraser Country, Harrison Hot Springs is the place. Long known to Salish First Nations people of the area for their healing properties, settlers discovered the hot springs in 1858 when a prospector fell in and was astonished to find himself in - hot water.

The waters from the two springs are piped to Harrison Hot Springs Resort's pools, where they are mixed with fresh water to cool them down to tolerable levels. The mineral pools here are accessible to resort guests only, but a nearby public pool is available for a fee.

Sea to Sky Country Hot Springs

The Skookumchuck Hot Springs and St. Agnes Well can be found near Pemberton. To get there, drive about 75km/ 45 miles south on the original Cariboo Wagon Road. There is a private campground and tubs are made available to the public.
