Orchard Barn Studio and Gallery
Located on a working cherry orchard at 3020 Erickson Road, the Orchard Barn Studio and Gallery is a century-old barn turned art studio and gallery. Check out the selection of arts and crafts, enjoy a cup of fair trade coffee, and take a tour of the orchard. The barn is open daily throughout the summer.
Kootenay Alpine Cheese Co.
The Kootenay Alpine Cheese Co. is a small-scale artisan producing flavourful and complex products. Cows on the Harris family farm provide high-quality milk for the cheese-making process. Meet the farmer and his cows, and look inside the fromagerie where all the magic happens. The farm is located at 3071-16th Street in Lister, and is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Sanders Produce
Sanders Produce is a small family farm, which abounds with hectares/acres of strawberries renowned for their flavour and quality. Peak strawberry picking time begins at summer solstice and lasts about a month. Raspberries are ripe from mid-July to August. Take the whole family on a berry picking expedition. Sanders Produce is north of Creston on Channel Road in Wynndel.
Creston Rotary Club Saturday Market
Local farmers come to town on Saturdays from June through September for the Creston Rotary Club Saturday Market. Buy local produce directly from the growers, and enjoy live music while shopping. The market is located on the south side of Millennium Park on 16th Avenue S.
Creston Valley Fall Fair
With a history spanning more than 90 years, the Creston Valley Fall Fair is a traditional agricultural fair with prizes for the best produce, livestock, and pies. It takes place on a Friday and Saturday in early September at the Creston and District Community Complex.
