Attractions in the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast combine nature and history as well as honour the way of life of the region's First Nations inhabitants.
Ancient lava beds, historical buildings and scenic forests are just some of highlights of the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast region's municipal parks. This includes the steep lava-layered canyon walls of Chasm Provincial Park, the hoodoos of Farwell Canyon, and the Rainbow Range volcanic mountains of Tweedsmuir Provincial Park.
Sports fans will find plenty on, with rodeos held in several towns and the region's two hockey teams: Williams Lake TimberWolves and Quesnel Millionaires playing regularly.
