Barkerville Historic Town
Barkerville Historic Town
Barkerville Historic Town offers a wealth of entertainment options. Theatre Royal shows provide live family entertainment featuring acts in the same style as those enjoyed by miners over 100 years ago. New productions are staged each summer. Or experience the high drama re-created in the courtroom once ruled by Judge Begbie, the famous "Hanging Judge." Actors also explain the workings of the massive Cornish Wheel that powered mining operations.

Williams Lake Studio Theatre mounts drama, comedy and musical productions during its fall-to-spring season, while Quesnel's Secondhand Theatre Company stages one or two plays per season. Just south of Quesnel in the community of Kersley you can see the noted Kersley Players.
