Panorama Mountain Village Resort is located in the Kootenay Rockies region of southeastern BC, deep in the magnificent Purcell Mountains. The summer months bring warm weather to this charming alpine village, whose location means easy access to hiking trails. There are five that leave directly from the resort or that begin at the top of the chairlift, open from June 24 to September 5. This is mountain-biking country, too: Panorama's extensive bike park offers 48.5 km (30.1 mi) of runs over a wide variety of terrain to challenge riders of all abilities. During the season, Panorama offers daily park tours as well as instruction for riders of all ages and levels, from novice to expert.

- Visit Panorama’s Mountain Adventure Centre for sports equipment for tennis, basketball, beach volleyball, horseshoes, soccer, bocce and Frisbee.
- See and learn about wolves at the Northern Lights Wolf Education Centre.
- Take a guided ATV tour of the area. They last from 2 - 3 hours. You can also combine an ATV tour with a whitewater rafting trip for an unforgettable day.
