Rentals and Guided Rides
Bike rentals are available from local suppliers, which also offer scenic, guided tours for groups, through some areas of the city and nearby trails. There are a number of riding events throughout the year put on by the Williams Lake Puddle Bike Club. Information and maps of the trails are obtainable at Tourism Discovery Centre/Visitor Centre, and local bike shops carry maps, directions and information on upcoming events.
Practical Points
All trails in the area are multi-use, and riders may encounter hikers and even horseback riders. Riders are advised always to give way to others using the trail. In addition, since many of the mountain trails pass through open range, riders are cautioned always to yield to cattle on the trail, and to walk all bikes when near cattle so as to not startle them. Fence gates must never be left open. Carry out any rubbish on wilderness trails and respect the local flora. Learn more about Hiking in Williams Lake.
