People with a passion for mountain biking are passionate about Apex Mountain Resort. The mountain offers an awesome 670 m (2,000 ft) of vertical riding. Many of the trails focus on singletrack, enabling freewheeling riders to go fast. The mountain also features easy, mildly-graded fire roads and trails that suit beginning riders or those out for a casual ride. For riders up to the challenge, the park offers a stunt area that features a smooth rollercoaster, an arched rollover to a banked deck and the start of a 6.7-m (22-ft) long skinny.
