Kicking Horse is a hiker's ultimate mountain resort. It offers high-alpine and mountaintop trails for hikers of all ability levels. Current routes are filled with natural delights: many open up to stunning ridge walks; others pass by rushing waters; some lead visitors through alpine meadows flush with summer flowers; even a few lead to stunning glaciers. Trails range from virtually flat and short distance in length to lung-busting, serious hours of ropes-optional vertical.
