Golf lovers will find many well-manicured golf courses in and nearby to Prince George.

Highlight Golf Clubs/Courses

  • The most city-central, posh golf course is the Prince George Golf & Curling Club (2515 Recreation Place), located off of Highway 16 between Highway 97 and Ferry Avenue.  This golf course, established in 1946, has 18 holes rated at par 71.  Facilities include a grass tee driving range, restaurant, racquetball and squash courts, meeting and banquet rooms, and catering.
  • Alder Hills Golf Course (Giscome Rd) is east of Prince George, approximately 8 minutes drive, along Highway 16 and Old Caribou Highway.  This 18-hole, par 3 golf course has a small gully running through the course and conifer trees growing along the edges.  The tees boxes are made of natural turf.  There is also a clubhouse and a driving range.
  • The Yellowhead Grove Golf Course (5961 Leland Rd) is approximately 10 minutes drive west on Highway 16.  This 9-hole golf course has a welcoming, friendly environment.  The tees are constructed Astroturf mats, to suite different skill levels.  Facilities include a licensed lounge and a covered BBQ area.
  • The Pine Valley Golf Center, located on Highway 16 next to big box shop Costco, offers affordable family-oriented golf.  Pine Valley is an 18-hole, par 3 course that has ladies’, men’s and junior’s nights.  Facilities include a pro shop, two-tiered driving range, licensed concession, and outdoor BBQ area.
  • Aspen Grove Golf Course (4555 Leno Rd) is an 18-hole golf course with a 10 holes featuring water obstacles.  Facilities include a driving range, a pro shop, rentals, a lounge and snack bar, and a covered BBQ area.
  • Aberdeen Golf Course located further from the center of town, approximately Aberdeen is a classy 18-hole, par 73 golf course.  Facilities include a driving range, the clubhouse with the Eagles Nest restaurant, lounge and patio, a pro shop, and tournament packages.  This golf course claims championship level play, beautiful scenery and hilly terrain.
  • The Links of Maggie May is a 9-hole golf course with an informal atmosphere. It is located 15 minutes-drive from downtown Prince George.  Facilities include a licensed clubhouse, patio and pro shop.
