Fernie Alpine Resort Land Activities

Hike and Bike From Spring to Fall

Summer is an ideal time to visit Fernie Alpine Resort. Hikers can meander through high alpine trails, past meadows and forest that open to spectacular views overlooking Elk Valley. More advanced hikers can challenge themselves on the strenuous trek up Mount Hosmer. Fernie is also one of Canada's premier mountain-biking destinations. The resort offers chairlift-access mountain-biking on over 40 km (24.9 mi) of trails that range from smooth and easy dirt tracks to thrilling steeps and stunts for more advanced riders.
