Island Mountain Arts has been operating in the vibrant 1930’s gold rush town of Wells since 1977. Just down the road from Barkerville Historic Town & the Bowron Lakes. Island Mountain Arts runs a Public Gallery/Artisan Gift Shop, School of the Arts, featuring courses in visual, literary & performance arts, including the Toni Onley Artists’ Project & the International Celtic Harp School & the ever-growing ArtsWells Festival, featuring tons of music & fun workshops, July 31 - August 3, 2009.
