Only groups over 10 & bus tour reservations are taken; others are booked on available spaces in the daily schedule.
Group Policy
Tour capacity is limited to 10 per tour guide due to limited & fragile spaces in the cars.
Age Restrictions
Children under 5 must be accompanied by an adult on tours of the railcars.
Clothing/Gear Restrictions
Depending on their size & containers, large items such as cameras, large bags, or other pieces of equipment may be refused on the tours in the railcars due to fragile wood wall panels & small spaces. It is best to leave such items in vehicles. Strollers, most walkers & wheelchairs cannot be allowed in the railcars due to potential damage to the walls.
Mobility Restrictions
Due to the relatively long distances in touring the historic trains, visitors should be prepared to walk the distances involved with the guide within the pre-set tour schedule. These walking distances range from as little as 48.8 m (160 ft) for the shortest tour section, to as much as 640 m (2,100 ft) for the "Grand Tour," comprising of 5 tour sections.
