Island Escapades celebrates 20 years in 2010. Sea kayak expeditions, day tours & rentals offer fabulous scenery & wildlife viewing. Accommodation/adventure packages, wilderness youth camps & school group programs; eclectic activities including kayaking, mountaineering, surfing & climbing. Camping or lodge-based corporate/leadership retreats. Our guides/instructors possess a wealth of knowledge. They have all the required instructional & safety certifications plus years of practical experience. Trips are always exciting & informative! As of December 1998, we have been offering eco tours to Costa Rica. Island Escapades won the small business of the year award from the Chamber of Commerce in 2008.

Cancellation Policy
Island Escapades requires a credit card to hold all reservations & a minimum of 2 hrs notice to cancel.

Group Policy
Island Escapades requires a credit card to hold group reservations & a minimum of 4 hrs notice to cancel.

Age Restrictions
Minimum age level of 6-7 yrs depending on child's size & comfort in the outdoors.

Clothing/Gear Restrictions
It is important to wear layered clothing that is synthetic, not cotton. Be prepared for inclement weather & have appropriate footwear. Island Escapades gives out Crocs in the summer & rubber boots in winter.

Height Restrictions
Let Island Escapades know if there is anyone in your group over 6'2" so we can provide boats with proper leg space.

Mobility Restrictions
It is important for Island Escapades to know if there is any back/hip problems or restricted shoulder mobility.

Weight Restrictions
If customers are quite small or heavy, please state prior to booking so we can supply the adequate boat size.
