It has since gained world-wide acclaim for the integrity & superb artistry of its huge depictions of the town's history with 41 outdoor murals plus carvings & statues. This annual event is organized by the Cowichan Intercultural Festival of Film & Arts Society. Many of the festival events take place on the traditional lands of the Cowichan people, in the Cowichan Region of southern Vancouver Island. It is with the generous support & partnership of Cowichan Tribes that we enter into this celebration of indigenous film & art, featuring an international slate of films, art & dance.
