Welcome to the fresh taste of the Comox Valley, over 80 farmers, fishers & bakers bring their locally produced products to market. Friends & families come together to relax & enjoy local entertainment, coffee, snacks & good conversation. From Jan to mid April the Farmers Market is held indoors at the Native Sons Hall in Downtown Courtenay. From mid April to Thanksgiving, the market moves outside to the Exhibition Fairgrounds. Then until Christmas the market moves back indoors.

The Comox Valley Christmas Parade has become so much more than a parade. With kids entertainment at the Sid Williams Theatre to Breakfast with Santa, to a Live Nativity Scene and Petting Zoo this event had become the should-not-be-missed holiday season celebration. The annual parade has grown into a huge event drawing families from all over the Comox Valley to see the over 40 floats, bands, dance troupes and more entered. The day begins with Breakfast With Santa, hosted by Crimestoppers at the Courtenay Legion. At 10:00 am the parade begins. Bring the whole family.

Start by taking your family photo with Santa & his dogsled team in the Alpine Village Parking Lot. From there you will be led on a tour of the village Christmas lights competition & to some warm refreshment stations. Upon arriving at the Alpine Lodge, we'll take a short break to warm up & then connect with the Choral Society members & make our way down the candlelit trail to the Ozone Tubing Park for carol singing.
