The Bill Reid Gallery of Northwest Coast Art is downtown Vancouver's public art gallery named after the acclaimed Haida artist Bill Reid (1920-1998). The Gallery is dedicated to understanding & appreciating contemporary Aboriginal art of the Northwest Coast of North America. Featured exhibition - June 20, 2009 - January 31, 2010 - Continuum: Vision and Creativity on the Northwest Coast. A major exhibition of 23 emerging & mid-career Aboriginal artists from British Columbia, Washington State and Alaska. Ongoing exhibitions include Mythic Messengers; Bill Reid: Master of Haida Art.
