Dirty Laundry Vineyard is a small but growing winery in Summerland, BC; located high above the original townsite on a plateau that enjoys an ideal micro climate & excellent sun exposure for growing exceptional grapes. Thanks to the vision of the vineyard's founders, Dirty Laundry Vineyard has some of the oldest vinifera vines in the Okanagan Valley. We feature a most welcoming, vine covered patio that overlooks orchards, vineyards, Okanagan Lake & the historical Trestle Bridge at Trout Creek Canyon. Visitors often have a chance to see the Kettle Valley Steam Train pass alongside the vineyard during the tourist season.

The Kettle Valley Steam Railway offers you the romance of a bygone era as you steam along the only preserved section of the historic Kettle Valley Railway. This unique 90 minute journey takes you through beautiful rural Summerland & onto the Trout Creek Bridge with a stunning view of Okanagan Lake & the canyon below. The sight & sound of our restored 1912 steam locomotive, an observation game for kids & lively musical entertainment make every run memorable for the whole family. In late 1989, the Farm-gate Winery license was created. This opened the door for many small growers to start their own operations. Lang Vineyards was the first to receive a license & opened in the summer of 1990.
