BlackSpruce Farms is a second generation owned & operated working farm only 15 min from the Mr PG (Hwy 16 & 97 intersection). We offer unique educational hands-on experience. Our educational farm tours include; egg collecting, honey extracting, goat milking, butter making & seed planting (some activities are seasonal). We also offer a variety of other activities from snow shoeing to birthdays packages, donkey rides to pictures with the animals. There are also areas where you can go & visit with the critters. We have the ability to bring the farm experience to you with the mobile petting farm.

The Huble Homestead is a heritage site located at the base of the historic Giscome Portage. Originally a farm & fur trading post, the homestead has been restored to its 1915 condition & is open to the public from May to Oct for guided tours, lunch & shopping in the General Store. Special events are held on weekends throughout the summer & feature blacksmithing & pioneer demonstrations, games & contests for the whole family & live entertainment. Huble Homestead is located 40 km north of Prince George, just off Hwy 97 on Mitchell Rd. Admission is by donation.
