The Osoyoos Desert Centre is a nature interpretive centre where visitors can learn about desert ecology, habitat restoration, and conservation of endangered ecosystems in the South Okanagan. The Centre offers visitors an opportunity to explore Canada's desert by taking a guided or self-guided tour along a 1.5 km wooden boardwalk. Visitors can also enjoy hands-on activities and exhibits in the interpretive centre, or take a stroll through the native plant demonstration garden. The Osoyoos Desert Centre, located 3 km north of Osoyoos off Hwy 97, is open annually from late April through early October.

Fun name, fine wine. Golden Beaver Winery is located on the Golden Mile in BC's South Okanagan. We are a small, family run winery, growing 10 varietals of grape. 16 small batch handcrafted wines are lovingly produced by the owners from hand harvested & hand sorted grapes. Our wine shop is small but cozy & well appointed. We have a lovely little picnic area where you can enjoy a lunch you bring or enjoy a small sampling of prepackaged snacks available July - Oct along with a glass (or share a bottle) of our wine.
