Port Moody (population: 27,512) offers a stimulating urban experience amid expansive green space, just 40 minutes from downtown Vancouver.

Located on the Barnett Highway, the community hugs the shores of Burrard Inlet and reaches into the slopes of the Coast Mountains to the north. The area’s sheltered waterfront and forested slopes attracted the Squamish and Musqueam Bands of the Coast Salish people, who were the area’s early inhabitants.

Port Moody offers plenty of activities for the outdoor enthusiast such as hiking, cycling or swimming at one of the many parks and lakes.

This vital community also offers a diverse mix of restaurants, cafes, boutiques and markets.

Known as the "City of the Arts", Port Moody boasts a dozen local art galleries and stages year-round arts and theatre events.
