Logan Lake
Logan Lake (population: 2,162) is situated in the heart of the Highland Valley, a pristine natural environment surrounded by mountains, lakes and forests. The community sits at an elevation of 1067m (3500 ft) but to understand Logan Lake’s founding history, you need to venture below ground.
One of the community’s most popular warm weather attractions is fishing. You can cast your line for Rainbow Trout and many other prize catches in the community’s namesake lake as well as the 25 high-elevation lakes located just a short distance from Logan Lake.
In winter, Logan Lake is blanketed in snow, making the community an ideal destination for cross-country skiing. You can enjoy 36 km (22 mi) of groomed trails right in the community and explore another 45 km (28 mi) of trails just 20 minutes from town. There are also great opportunities for snowmobiling with over 500 km (310 mi) of marked trails.
