Golden
Golden (population: 3,811) is nestled between the Purcell and Rocky Mountains, near the world-renowned Columbia Valley Wetlands.
Hike throughout Golden's scenic terrain. Paddle one of Canada's premier whitewater rivers. You can also golf, rock climb or kick up dust on the area's cycling trails. East of Golden, visit Yoho National Park to see spectacular waterfalls, towering peaks and one of the world's most important fossil finds.
